A 3-Day Immersion · Miranalla Farm, Bohol
Three days to understand your food, your rhythms, and your mind — and leave with the map to tend all three.

In the Philippines, we call it pagtitiis — the act of enduring in silence. Pushing through. Not making a fuss. Absorbing the exhaustion, the cravings, the symptoms that the lab reports call normal, and telling yourself to get on with it.
You don't have to be Filipino to recognize this. Most cultures have a version of it. It just goes by other names: being tough, keeping it together, being a strong woman.
You've built the career. You spend real money on your health — the gym, the supplements, the nutritionist who gave you a meal plan you quietly stopped following three weeks in. You've been to the doctor and been told your labs are normal. So you must be fine.
But something has quietly fallen behind. Your energy doesn't feel like freedom. It feels like obligation. You know what's wrong in your body before the appointment, and you leave the appointment without a name for it.
You're not broken. You're untended. And there is a difference.
The Untamed Weekend is three days on a working permaculture farm in Bohol to stop enduring quietly — and start actually understanding what your body has been trying to tell you.
The framework
In permaculture, every farm is organised into zones — areas tended at different frequencies, each serving a different role in the health of the whole system.
Zone 00 is the most essential zone of all: the person at the center. Before any garden can thrive, Zone 00 must be tended first.
Your Zone 00 has three layers. This weekend is structured around all three, in this order.
Your food, your rhythms, your body's strength. The foundation without which everything else is unstable.

What you leave with
Not a meal plan. Not a list of foods to avoid. A way of understanding what your body needs at different times — simplified enough to use for the rest of your life without tracking a single number.
You will never again blame yourself for a craving or a low-energy week. You'll know what it is, what's driving it, and what to do about it — including when the right answer is rest.
Why muscle is the most important thing a woman over 35 can build, and a beginner practice you can take home and continue without a coach hovering over you.
A practical tool for stepping back from thoughts instead of being run by them — especially the ones your hormones are writing. This one changes how your relationships work.
Three days of your own data, written in your own hand. The beginning of a pattern you can track for the rest of your life — and bring to a doctor who will actually take you seriously.
Whatever brought you here — the energy, the weight, the cravings, the feeling that something has fallen behind — you leave with at least a clear direction. Not a vague inspiration. A direction.
About Dr. Micah
I trained as a physician. I spent years being taught that a body running on time, on schedule, on a predictable 24-hour output, was a healthy body. Then I left that story — not because the science was wrong, but because the story built on top of it was.
I worked two years as a rural health doctor in Siargao, where I also learned to surf. I watched my father reverse his heart disease risk with food instead of surgery — and built a cookbook from what I learned. I survived Supertyphoon Odette the week before I was supposed to open a clinic. I became my father's caregiver. My relationship broke down. I lost businesses. And through all of it, I discovered what I now call the authenticity-health link — why the body registers what the mind refuses to acknowledge. I found permaculture. I found a way through all of it that actually worked.
Everything I teach this weekend, I have lived. The Zone 00 framework, the food philosophy, the strength habit, the authenticity-health link — all of it came from years of using my own body as a field study before I ever asked anyone else to use theirs.
I am currently building a food forest on my land in Kidapawan, bed by bed. Every one I plant teaches me the same lesson my body already knew.
